Kick off the new school year at Milledgeville’s Back to School Blowout

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Students in Baldwin County head back to school next week. You can kick off the year at today’s First Friday Back to School Blowout. Carlee Schulte from Milledgeville Main Street stopped by 41 Today to tell us more.

Schulte said the whole community is invited to downtown Milledgville Friday, August 1st from 6 to 9 p.m.

The Baldwin High School cheerleaders will kick off the event with a pep rally at the Georgia College campus theatre. There will be a school supply drive at Jack & Darcy.

Kids can color their school’s mascot and play in a variety of games to win First Friday prizes. There will also be face painting.

There will be live entertainment, food, and plenty of fun activities for everyone.
