Lake Bridge Behavioral Health System accused of abuse
According to a 41NBC news viewer, on Saturday, the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services interviewed every employee and patient about abuse claims.
Several staff members have been suspended.
DFCS would not comment on this incident.
We also reached out to Lake Bridge’s CEO James Eyler who released this statement:
Lake Bridge Behavioral Health System
The leadership at Lake Bridge Behavioral Health System (Lake Bridge) worked collaboratively and cooperatively with Georgia’s Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) in their recent periodic site survey. Our facility management, staff and physicians were present and complied fully with the DFCS inquiries. The facility is completely operational and there has been no disruption of services to patients. Lake Bridge remains fully dedicated and committed to its mission of providing the highest quality of care to individuals with special, and sometimes complex, mental health needs.
As the story develops we will have more information.
