Learn where your water comes from during free MWA Open House
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – We are raising our glass and toasting H2O. This week is National Drinking Water Week. The Macon Water Authority is celebrating by hosting an open house this week. Kris Hattaway stopped by 41 Today to talk more about the importance of water in our daily lives.
The MWA Open House at the Amerson Water Treatment Plant will be on Thursday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The treatment facility is located at 703 River bend Drive.
During the open house, guests will take a tour of the plant and learn about the value of tap water. They will also learn how MWA produces clean, safe drinking water at the facility everday.
