Local animal rescue celebrates one-year anniversary

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Fun, food, and a doggie fashion show. The three F’s! Those are some of the things Furever After Rescue is doing to celebrate its one-year anniversary this Saturday. You can dress up your dog and enter him or her in a doggie fashion show, which takes place from noon to 1:00 that day. But the event is five hours and filled with other activities such as:

• Adoptions
• Bake sale
• Face painting
• Games
• Grill-out lunch
• Raffles
• Sco-cones
• Silent auction

The event is this Saturday, September 13th, from 10am – 3pm. The doggie fashion show takes place between 12 – 1, and Marco will be one of the judges. He’s excited to exercise his fashion know-how!
