Local animal shelter to host road race
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A local animal shelter is hosting an annual road race to raise funds for its shelter’s needs.
All About Animals Rescue is a local no-kill shelter for homeless and unwanted dogs and cats in middle Georgia, and its 7th Annual All About Animals Road Race is considered its biggest fundraiser.
Race directors Lisa Goss, and Carol Galonczyk share more details about the race during an interview with 41NBC’s Taylor Terrell.
The funds will help volunteers spay and neuter the animals, buy medicine, pay the insurance, utilities and the shelter’s employee.
