Local celebrities strut to cure cancer

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Joshua’s Wish Foundation will host its 3rd Annual Catwalk to Cure Childhood Cancer Fashion Show.

The show features fashions worn by local celebrities, community members and families with children battling cancer.

Melba Moore, a Tony Award winning actress and Grammy nominated recording artist, will be the special guest.

Admission for the event is $25 for general admission and $50 for VIP admission, which includes: front seating, a reception where pictures with Melba Moore will be taken and a swag bag.

The event is on Sunday, May 1 at the Tubman Museum in Macon.

Since the organization’s existence, Joshua’s Wish has donated over $100, 000 to pediatric brain tumor research including annual donations to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
