Local Church Helps Community Sign Up for Healthcare Before Deadline
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The deadline to enroll for healthcare is quickly approaching. Reverend Carlton Mahone from Bethel CME Church in Macon stopped by 41 Today to talk about how the church is helping the community sign up for health insurance.
Mahone says the church is hosting ACA March Madness this month. The goal is to help anyone who is having problems with enrolling into a healthcare plan. He adds this will also help help them meet the March 31 deadline.
Bethel CME Church will provide assistance March 19 through 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. They will also help on March 24 though 28 and March 31st from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
