Local church to host dance for people with special needs

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Lizella Baptist Church welcomes everyone to join members and volunteers for the 3rd Annual Spring Formal for people with special needs.

This year’s theme is “An Enchanting Evening.”

According to the church’s Special Education Chair, Patricia Stevens, the experience continues to give those who may not experience a traditional dance the opportunity to socialize.

The formal event will feature: music, food, dancing and formal pictures.

The dance is this Friday, March 11 at 5:30 p.m.
