Local fraternity, sorority to host scholarship event

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Macon-Warner Robins Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. will host the 9th Annual C.O.D.E. RED scholarship event this weekend.

The acronym “C.O.D.E.” stands for Collective Organizations Dedicated to Excellence.

During the event, attendees can expect to hear music from a local DJ, eat light refreshments and enjoy a social atmosphere. 

All of the proceeds from the event will benefit high school youth and support community projects, according to a news release. 

C.O.D.E RED will be held at the Macon City Auditorium located at 415 First Street in downtown Macon from 9:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.

General admission tickets are $30.00 in advance, and $35 per ticket at the door.
