Love Week: One card worth ‘10,000 Kisses’

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – If one kiss is worthwhile, then try 10,000 of them. 

February is ‘Teen Violence Awareness Month,’ and to raise awareness in middle Georgia one local organization is helping boost the self-esteem of middle school girls. 

The card donation fundraiser, ‘10,000 Kisses’, is what Marketing Coordinator for Southern Center for Choice Theory, LLC Brittney Powell says gives community members a chance to pour positive messages into the lives of teenage girls going through "one of the hardest phases in their lives."

On Friday, February 13 the cards donated will be taken to various schools across middle Georgia.
