‘Macon Action Plan’ to help build downtown area
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon’s downtown area is growing, and with hopes of creating an "eat, work, live and play" environment, one local group is hosting an open house inviting middle Georgians to learn more and share their ideas about this developing community.
Macon Action Plan, or M.A.P. is a what Urban Development Authority Executive Director Alex Morrison describes as a series of strategies to build Macon’s urban core.
41NBC’s Taylor Terrell sits down with the director, as well as M.A.P.’s Steering Committee Member David Danzie to talk about the purpose of this group, and the upcoming event.
If you’d like to attend, M.A.P.’s next open house is Friday, March 6 at 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Cox Capitol Theatre.
