Macon author publishes children’s book to promote healthy eating

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon author published a children’s book to promote healthy eating habits. Gilda Ayoub stopped by 41 Today to tell us about Little Horatio.

Ayoub said Little Horatio tells the story of a boy’s poor eating habit. He only wants to eat meat and no matter what his mom says, he refuses to eat other foods. But eventually, Horatio gets sick. With a little help, he sees the errors of his ways and starts to eat healthy.

Ayoub has more than 20 years of experience working with children. She recalled when students in the classroom only wanted to eat meat and didn’t like vegetables or grains.
