Macon Bibb Animal Welfare pardons shelter animal, fees reduced
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon-Bibb County’s Animal Welfare partners with national and local advocacy organizations pardoning 68 animals from being euthanized.
The group also plans to host a four-day adoption event.
Visitors are encourage to attend the event today, and tomorrow, Saturday February 7 at the center located on 1010 Eleventh Street in Macon.
According to a release, as part of the adoption push, fees will be reduced to $80, which includes the $10 license fee required for Macon-Bibb residents and the $50 refundable spay and neuter fee.
