Macon-Bibb commissioner weighs in on Walmart vandalism incident

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – After an incident involving several young people vandalizing the Walmart on Zebulon Road in Macon, the District Attorney is considering charging several teens with rioting and damaging property. 

Another teen is being charged with criminal street gang activity. 

Commissioner Elaine Lucas says the punishments for the crime may be too harsh, and would like to see the charges dropped, or altered. 

Lucas sits down with 41NBC’s Taylor Terrell to talk more about it.
