Macon-Bibb Commissioners to Vote on New Animal Welfare Director
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – It has been a big debate back and forth over who will be the next Macon-Bibb Animal Welfare director.
Mayor Robert Reichert nominated Van Vandewalker for the position earlier this month, but the commissioners voted to reconsider the appointment. We could learn who will get the job Wednesday afternoon during the commissioner’s workshop. It is down to Vandewalker and current director Sarah Tenon.
Macon-Bibb Commissioner Mallory Jones stopped by 41 Today to tell us more about the vote.
The commissioners are meeting at 4 p.m.
