Macon-Bibb leaders to host New Year’s Eve celebration

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon-Bibb County leaders plan to host a New Year’s Eve celebration, after sponsors canceled the annual Cherry Blossom Ball Drop. 

District 9 Commissioner Al Tillman says the event will include family activities, vendors and a disk jockey. 

Community members can enjoy the free event, which starts at 9:00 p.m. on December 31 at Rosa Parks Square in downtown Macon.
