Macon Centreplex asking for donations to benefit local food bank
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon Centreplex is accepting non-perishable donations for their Holiday Food Drive on Monday.
Tyler Gambrell and Monty Jones Jr., of Spectra, stopped by the 41NBC studio to talk about the food drive. The Centreplex is also accepting monetary donations along with non-perishable foods.
All of the donations go to the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank, which feeds under-privileged members of the Middle Georgia community all year long.
The food drive is Monday, Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m at the Macon Centreplex. There will be games and prizes. Members of the Macon Mayhem will also be there.
