Macon Marriott Hosts First New Year’s Eve Bash

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Looking to celebrate the new year with a bang? The Macon Marriott City Center is hosting its first New Year’s Eve Bash Tuesday night. David Higdon stopped by 41 Today to tell us about the event.

The first annual event starts at 8 p.m. at the Macon Centerplex Ballroom. Georgia based bands WoolFolk and The Tyler Hammond Band will open for the popular Atlanta band The Whiskey Gentry.

Tickets are $15. VIP passes are available for $65 and include two tickets, an appetizer station, open bar from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m., and a post-midnight breakfast buffett.

The event is open to the public and for all ages.
