Macon the Stage: Local artists expose talents in two-day event

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – ‘Macon the Stage’ is given middle Georgia artist the opportunity to showcase their skills by performing in a two-day art expo. 

Land Mindz, Inc. non-profit organization highlights the artist and serves as a fundraiser summer scholarships for youth to attend Douglass Summer Theatre Camp and the Macon- Bibb Parks and Recreation Cultural Arts program at L.H. Williams.

Dr. Shelton Land, found of Land Mindz, talks about how you can join the expo, and with Deangelos Barber giving a monologue. 

The event takes plane June 12-13 at the Douglass Theatre on 355 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
