MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – The U.S. Census is done every ten years to make sure everyone in all 50 United States are counted for. Counting each resident provides information to the U.S. government so it can provide federal funding to places like hospitals, roads, and schools.

The Urban Complete County Committee is a group that reaches out to hard to count populations that normally do not participate in the census. The group’s members try to provide a trusted voice to those residents so they can explain why its so important for them to take part in the census.
