Mardi Gras in Macon: Businesses bring spirit of Bourbon Street to middle Georgia
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Local businesses are teaming up to bring Mardi Gras to downtown Macon.
According to a release, groups and families are encouraged to dress-up and compete in a costume contest, and enjoy new local restaurants.
The free event starts at 5:00 p.m. and lasts till 7:00 p.m.
If you’d like to participate, you can meet other attendees at 5:00 p.m. at Ocmulgee Traders on 455 Poplar Street.
