Masquerade Ball to Benefit Breast Cancer Awareness

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Second Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Masquerade Ball is coming up Friday, November 15 at the Historic Douglass Theatre in Macon. Local artist and event organizer, Dewayne Kendrick shared details on the black tie event.

“I envision The Masquerade as the mingling of talents, ideas, beliefs, and insights. It is a meeting of the minds, outpouring of positive praise, night of magic, and glance into hope,” said Kendrick.

Attendees will hear stories from breast cancer survivors, enjoy Caribbean inspired dishes from a chef in Dublin, live entertainment, and poetry readings. Kendrick, along with artists Travis Hart and Rudy Mendes will also auction off their artwork to raise funds for breast cancer awareness.

Admission is $20 per person. The proceeds from the event will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation and Living by Faith Outreach Ministries.
