Middle Georgians to receive free financial assistance
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Mercer University’s student chapter of the Financial Management Association (FMA) partners with GreenPath Debt Solutions to host it’s second annual Family Financial Wellness Fair.
The free event is open to the public, and features several different services, such as: credit reports and credit score for the first 100 people in attendance, consultation with certified financial planners, seminars, student loan reports, door prizes and activities for children.
According to a release, the goal is to build support by increasing personal financial stability for middle Georgians through education and assistance.
The organization hopes more than 200 low to moderate income families participate this year.
The Family Financial Wellness Fair is on Saturday, April 18 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the University Center on Mercer Macon’s campus.
