Miss Southeast Georgia’s Outstanding Teen makes community impact with ‘Hotshots’
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – When faced with a problem, Miss Southeast Georgia’s Outstanding Teen Ivey Rowland says she knows exactly how to solve it.
One issue she’s tackling is limited water supply for local firefighters.
Through a bottle water drive she founded in August 2014 called ‘Hotshots,’ Rowland has been able to challenge community members to donate water or money to buy water for the men and woman serving our community.
41NBC’s Taylor Terrell sits down with Rowland to talk more about the community service initiative, and how it’s helping to make middle Georgia a better place.
