Motivating Youth Foundation celebrates students’ achievements

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – UPDATE: According to Roger Jackson, the awards ceremony scheduled for Saturday, July 19 is cancelled due to circumstances beyond their control.

The Motivating Youth Foundation is celebrating the end of summer with an awards ceremony. The organization’s founder, Roger Jackson, stopped by 41 Today to tell us more about the program.

The Motivating Youth Foundation is a year-long program for students in Bibb County. The organization is an extra learning tool for kids ages 5 to 17.

The program is culminating with the summer program awards ceremony. Students who excelled during the school year will be acknowledged. The kids will also perform their talents.

The awards ceremony is Saturday, July 19 at Macedonia Church from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
