Nelson family preps for annual Chainsaw Carving Bash

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Nelson family is hosting their 6th annual ‘Chaptacular Chainsaw Carving Bash.’ 

The event benefits research toward the cycstic fibrosis fight, and helping the families of current patients. 

Sandy Nelson is the mother of Luke Nelson, a freshman college student batting the chronic disease. Together with Chap Nelson, Luke’s uncle, their raising awareness for the cause. 

This event will be held this Friday and Saturday, November 14 and 15 from 9 am till 5 pm. The benefit auction of the carved items will be on Saturday at 2 pm on 541 Hungerford Road in Gray.
