New Year’s Resolution Week: Career Tips

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – If you made a resolution this new year to get a new job or new career, Jane Simpson has a few tips for you.

Simpson works with the Houston County Career Center.

She says it’s important to make a good first impression at an interview, and you can never be too overdressed.

For your resume, don’t make it more than two pages long, and only include the last 10 or so years of your work experience.

Also, write in short, concise sentences so you can fit lots of information on the page.
