Ocmulgee National Monument celebrate Native American Heritage Month
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Take a step back in time, and learn more about the Ocmulgee National Monument for Native American Heritage Month.
Park rangers are offering are offering tours of the monument to show visitors what archaeologists found during their "dig" in the 30’s. Ranger Angela Bates says the Ocmulgee National Monument was and is still considered the largest dig in American history.

Tours will last throughout November every Saturday at 11:00 a.m., and on Sundays at 2:00 p.m.
