Old Governor’s Mansion Celebrates Christmas Tradition
MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Holiday celebrations continue throughout middle Georgia and the Old Governor’s Mansion is one that has become a tradition.
Director of the Old Governor’s Mansion, Matt Davis stopped by 41 Today with details on the candlelight tours and musical performances taking place in the month of December.
According to Davis, this year’s theme is ‘holiday traditions,’ representing how Christmas was celebrated in the 1850s.
Candlelight tours are available December 14 and 19 at 6 and 7 p.m. The Old Governor’s Mansion is open Tuesday through Sunday.
