Organization launches book drive, hopes to benefit local children
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Lost Keys Literary Festival is spreading the gift of literacy with a book drive this holiday season.
Second Street , Changes Hair Salon and Wesleyan College .
According to a news release, children of the Rainbow House and the Safe House will receive the books.
The books should be K-12 appropriate.
Leaders hope this book drive will start a tradition each holiday season.
The current drop-off locations are: the Macon Arts Alliance, Kudzu Company onIf you are not able to make it to these locations, the Lost Keys Literary Festival is also offering to pick up books from those who wish to donate. Individuals who need to use this option should email the organization at [email protected]
to set-up an appointment.The event will end on December 18.
