Organizers of the Dexter Christmas Parade proud of its hometown feel

DEXTER, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The 9th Annual Dexter Christmas Parade gives residents in the little town, a big reason to celebrate.

Two of the parade’s organizers, Nelda Knight and Carol Whittle, stopped by the 41NBC studio to discuss the event, which is one of Middle Georgia’s only “small town” holiday parades.

The Dexter Christmas Parade is open to everyone! Of course there will be floats, music and fun. Santa Clause will be making a special appearance for kids.

The 1962-1963 Dexter girl’s basketball state champions will also be celebrated.

The parade is the morning of December 3 in Dexter.
