Parents, kids learn tips during Child Safety Expo
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Summer is here and that most likely means kids are spending their hot days in the pool, riding bikes, or playing outside. Jennifer Gardner from the Coliseum Health System stopped by 41 Today to tell us about the hospital’s Child Safety Expo.
The expo will help parents know what to do so kids can have fun and be safe. Parents and children will learn safety tips on bicycles and helmets, safe sleeping habits, fire, falls, poison control, guns, and swimming. They’ll be learning all of these tips while having fun.
The free Child Safety Expo is Saturday, June 21 from 9 a.m. to noon at Coliseum Northside Hospital located at 400 Charter Boulevard.
