Prom to celebrate the strength of disabled individuals

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – The Champions program was created by Baldwin County’s Donnie Cannie in honor of his niece, Alyaih. It supports children and adults with development disabilities and let’s them know they are a champion. On Saturday, February 29th, the program is hosting its first Celebrations of Strength Prom.

The prom is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 1735 Irwinton Road in Milledgeville. It’s free and open to children and adults with disabilities and their families.
