Queens 4 a Cure Pageant to Benefit the Houston County Relay for Life

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A local pageant is giving cancer the boot! "Queens 4 a Cure" is raising money for the Houston County Relay for Life walk. Kelli Glaser and Logan White stopped by 41 Today to talk about what is "Queen 4 a Cure," the inspiration behind it, who can participate and how it benefits the Houston County Relay for Life.

Its not your typical pageant with fancy dresses and gorgeous make-up. Its the second annual jean and t-shirt pageant with a more comfortable and creative feel to it. The division range from 3 to 20 years of age with entry fee of $40.00, which includes all awards in first, second runner up, queen, and most creative outfit over all. The pageant will be held Sunday May 4, 2014, 2 p.m. at the Flint Energies building Highway 96 in Warner Robins.

All applications are due May 1, 2014. Please make all entry fee payable to Kelli Glaster. You can contact her at (478) 538-5485 or email with any questions at [email protected].
