Racers, fans get ready for Thursday Thunder Series at Atlanta Motor Speedway

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Racers, start your engines! Dustin Bixby from Atlanta Motor Speedway stopped by 41 Today to tell us about the Thursday Thunder Series.

Thursday Thunder starts this Thursday. It features Legends and Bandolero racing on the quarter mile “Thunder Ring”. It is grassroots racing and several professional racers started racing during this series.

Brother and sister duo, Taylor and Jensen Jorgensen also stopped by 41 Today to share why they started racing. The 15 and 18 year old got bitten by the race bug after they saw their dad racing.

All three guests say families and race lovers will enjoy the Thunder Thursday series.
