Reasons to visit Milledgeville

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – There are a ton of things you can do in the Antebellum Capital. Jane Sowell from the Milledgeville-Baldwin County Visitors and Convention Bureau joined us on 41 Today to tell us more.

Sowell said Milledgeville’s charm and history make it a great place to visit. She said a couple big attractions in the area are the Old Capitol building, the Old Governor’s Mansion, and the Oconee River Greenway. She also said the best way to explore the city is on one of its trolleys.
