Pugh said single is the new normal because people are staying in school longer and focusing on their careers. He also said when two people decide to get married, you have to know you’re marrying everything, include their finances. When it comes to weddings, Pugh suggests you don’t focus too much attention on the event and keep the focus on the relationship.
