Rescue Mission feeds hundreds for Thanksgiving

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia hosts its annual Thanksgiving Day dinner to benefit less fortunate clients, and those who simply need a meal for the holidays.

Hundreds will be able to enjoy traditional Thanksgiving food with more than 80 volunteers giving them a hand up for the big holiday.

Kevin Lyles and Troy Johnson from the organization talk about the how the event creates a better middle Georgia, and how the dinner is helping hundreds have a "Happy Thanksgiving."
