Salvation Army Ringing Bells for Red Kettle Campaign

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – We’re kicking off the holidays at 41 Today. Major Alan Hill from the Salvation Army stopped by to tell us about this year’s Red Kettle Campaign.

According to the Salvation Army’s website, the Red Kettles have been an American tradition since 1891, helping raise financial support for critical Salvation Army programs and services year round. The site also says over the years, the Red Kettle Campaign has grown into one of the most recognizable and important charitable campaigns in the United States.
