SCORE hosting conference for women entrepreneurs

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – According to the National Association of Women Business Owners, more than 11 million firms are owned by women. Score’s Macon Chapter is hosting its 4th Annual Women’s Entrepreneur Leadership Conference in Macon this week. It’s Thursday, September 26th at 6 pm at the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame in Macon. It’s part of Macon Startup Week, a free, five-day celebration to build momentum and opportunity around entrepreneurship.

The conference includes a panel discussion from leading experts in different fields of entrepreneurship. The panelists will discuss their paths to entrepreneurship and address the particular challenges faced by women entrepreneurs.

The keynote speaker this year is Lori Brewer, founder and leader of LBAWare, a software company based in Macon with a nationwide client base.
