Show Some Love to Bugs on Valentine’s Day

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Love is in the air and while most are thinking of hearts and roses, Valentine’s Day is also a great time to show some love to bugs we often take for granted. Ben Dupree from Arrow Exterminators stopped by 41 Today to talk about some lovable bugs.

Ladybugs top the list. Not only are they adorable, but they also bring good luck.

Fireflies are the ultimate love bug. They use their soft glow like candlelight to attract new mates.

Dragonflies deserve some love because they eat mosquitoes.

Crickets might be the most romantic bug of all because only the male crickets chirp in their quest for the perfect mate.

And finally, honeybees round out the list of lovable bugs. They not only produce a sweet treat we all enjoy, but they also pollinate the flowers many are receiving on this day of love.
