Sidney Lanier Cottage ready for another year of Cottage Christmas

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Sidney Lanier Cottage is decorated and ready for another year of its big Cottage Christmas event.

Historic Macon Foundation has some of the best chefs in town cooking up some delicious baked goods that’ll be on sale during Cottage Christmas. All proceeds benefit Historic Macon. Also an exciting addition to the open house this year is music by the Otis Redding Foundation DREAM Choir.

Cottage Christmas is Sunday, Dec. 12 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Sidney Lanier Cottage located at 935 High Street.

Kim Campbell, from Historic Macon, stopped by the 41NBC studio to talk about the event. Shes says the open house is a great way to meet people. There will be complimentary wine and a festive punch. Donations are appreciated.
