Southern cookbook helps create full menus for all occasions

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – We’re serving up delicious southern style cooking on 41 Today. Georgia author Lara Lyn Carter stopped by the show to tell us about her new cookbook.

The cookbook, Southern Thymes Shared pairs southern classics made with a twist and wines. It also is a “menu-style” cookbook and gives suggestions on side dish, desert, and drink pairings.

Carter said this cookbook is great for beginning cooks to experts in the kitchen. There are themed meals for every holiday and occasion.
