‘The sweetest tradition in Macon’ returns

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Christmas at the Cottage opens to middle Georgia for the holiday season next week, and two partners say you don’t want to miss out on the festivities.

The self-proclaimed “sweetest holiday tradition in Macon” brings Historic Macon and the Sidney Lanier Cottage together for an open house at the cottage complete with a wine and cheese showcase, baked goods for sale, and tastings of a few local chef’s special recipes.

Visitors at the Sidney Lanier Cottage will be able to purchase vendor goods, or pre-order popular choice items online at historicmacon.org.

If you’d like to attend, the event will be on Thursday, December 11 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Sidney Lanier Cottage located on 935 High Street in Macon.
