More than a thousand volunteers to celebrate ‘Day Of Peace’ in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Director of the Shalom Zone Frank Austin had a vision that’s grown into something fantastic.

The Macon Day of Peace Community and Unity will bring together more than a thousand volunteers to celebrate and encourage peace.

The group has organized 11 community events designed to disrupt the cycle of crime, poverty, litter, and blight while promoting peace, community, and unity in Macon.
