Tubman Museum to host Otis Redding exhibit

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Tubman Museum has an exciting new exhibit coming Friday.

It honors one of the most well known and well respected artists, Otis Redding.

Redding grew up in Macon.

He went on to be an international musical star.

Curator Jeff Bruce wants Redding to be remembered well–he’s presenting a set of photographs Otis’ wife put together.

The exhibit is called “The King Of Soul: Otis Redding In Photographs,” and is a great way to get to know a man who truly knew music.
