UPDATE: Bibb Schools Promote Fitness and Family Fun

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Bibb County School’s fitness and health extravaganza hosted by Jones Elementary is back this year and better than before. The event promotes living a healthy lifestyle and is free for all Bibb County School families.

Jones Elementary’s Dawn Scott said the event includes an obstacle course for families, six creative snack making stations, and a Zumba fitness dance party.

Jones Elementary has partnered with Appling Middle School, Bernd, Burdell-Hunt, King-Danforth Elementary Schools and Northeast High School to make the event possible.

The fitness party is Tuesday, January 28 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 2350 Alandale Drive in Macon. For more information call (478) 779-2581.

UPDATE: The event has been pushed back due to the weather. It will now be held on Tuesday, February 4 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Jones Elementary.
