When will we use math in life? We attempt to answer your questions!
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — I’m going to ask a question to two different audiences. First, to the parents: how do you get your children excited about math if they don’t think it’s relevant to their lives? And to the people in school, a similar question: how is math relevant to you at all? We wanted to help shed light on that and invited onto the show Middle Georgia State College Math Club President and Math Honor Society President Patrick Goodman. He talked about the uses of math in real life, how math is taught, and briefly delves into the debate over who invented calculus. Does it sound like a scary topic? You may be surprised to find out how interesting it really is!
