Young boy raises money for Georgia Cancer Friends
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 7-year-old boy is giving up his birthday presents to help the kids at Georgia Cancer Friends in honor of his grandmother who is a cancer survivor.
This is Langston Grice’s second time doing this fundraiser, and each year it gets bigger, and better. Grice wants to encourage other kids to donate their time and presents to help kids who are suffering from the disease.
Through an online campaign Langston’s father, Jeremy says they’ve raised $500 and counting.
Langston’s deadline for fundraising is March 14, the day of his birthday party.
