Young Entrepreneurs Academy fosters business skills in students
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Young Entrepreneurs Academy is a new class hosted by the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce for students.
It fosters a love for business by teaching skill students can use in the real world.
It meets on Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. starting October 12th at Mercer University’s Innovation Center.
YEA is a national program, and Macon is the first city in Georgia to host it.
YEA! welcomes applications from all students in grades 6 – 12 between 11 and 18 years old, and who are attending public, private or home schools in Macon-Bibb County.
Program Manager Nadia Osman from the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce joins 41NBC to talk more about it.
